Boston University, as a campus, is working to create a more sustainable atmosphere. Examples of their strategies for behavior change include:
- Seven Solar Panels to absorb energy from the sun to convert to electricity
- Small Wind Turbine converts energy to electricity to building?s power grid
- Rain sensors installed on the 140 irrigation systems across campus
- Elimination of dining trays
- Bicycle Powered Office, a combination of solar, wind and human power runs laptops, telephones, and desk lamps
