Boston University, as a campus, is working to create a more sustainable atmosphere. Examples of their strategies for behavior change include:

  • Seven Solar Panels to absorb energy from the sun to convert to electricity
  • Small Wind Turbine converts energy to electricity to building?s power grid
  • Rain sensors installed on the 140 irrigation systems across campus
  • Elimination of dining trays
  • Bicycle Powered Office, a combination of solar, wind and human power runs laptops, telephones, and desk lamps
