Want to attend a morning lecture on geothermal energy systems and then retire into a geothermal-heated spa?  Look no further than Iceland’s masters program at RES.   Masters students at RES spend one intensive year gaining exposure to a breadth of renewable technologies and policy issues while living in the serene town of Akureyri, Iceland.  Students spend their first two trimesters learning the fundamentals of seven forms of renewable energy from industry professionals and world-renowned professors. The final trimester is spent writing a thesis, either in Iceland or as a visiting student at one of RES’s many partner laboratories.
