This position will report to the R&D lead. The intern will work on developing a web interface for Dynapower’s DPS-250 DC-DC converter. The intern will use the existing code from another product and port over to the DPS controller for the web interface. The web interface will be hosted by the on-board realtime controller and will allow the end-user to monitor, operate and configure the DC-DC converter.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Enrolled in a 4 year program within Engineering and Mathematical Sciences
Completed minimum 2 years in bachelor’s program
Minimum 2.8 GPA
Familiarity with LabVIEW and past use for at least one semester
Additional Preferred Skills , Qualifications or Requirements:
Web development experience
Introductory electronics class
Familiarity with industrial communications protocols such as Modbus

Job Description:
The intern will work on developing control features for Dynapower’s Industrial Systems products. The intern will report to the VP of engineering and help program microcontrollers for use in industrial equipment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Enrolled in a 4 year program within Engineering and Mathematical Sciences
Completed minimum 2 years in bachelor’s program
Minimum 2.8 GPA
Familiarity with embedded control systems – specifically hands-on experience in programming microcontrollers and microprocessors using C, C#
Additional Preferred Skills , Qualifications or Requirements:
Familiarity with industrial communications protocols such as Modbus
Understanding of power conversion equipment using thyristors and diodes
Familiarity with industrial communications protocols such as Modbus
