The Position:
Application Engineer/Application Engineering Coordinator Internship/ Parttime / Eastern U.S. or Canada
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Edit and refine customer-faced technical documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
· Gather and analyze market information, delivering insightful analysis to support business decisions.
· Develop application tools to facilitate engineering daily support
· Assist in understanding and applying industry certifications and standards to project and processes.
· Support technical documentation matrix during project support
· Utilize data analysis skills to interpret technical and market data effectively.
· Develop a professional understanding of electrical engineering or systems engineering principles.
· Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow as an expert in the energy storage industry.
Minimum Requirements:
· GPA of 3.0 or above.
· Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
· Exhibit a passion for renewable energy and a commitment to sustainable technology solutions.
Education or Desired License and Certificates:
· Currently pursuing a Master’s (or Doctorate) degree from a top 50 engineering college in the U.S. or Canada
Competencies
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Visio.
· Comfortable interpreting technical documents and schematics, including structure drawings, SLDs etc.
· Basic coding skills; knowledge of Visual Basic, Python and MATLAB preferred.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Speaking Chinese is a plus
· Ability to quickly learn new tools and software
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data.
· Experience in renewable energy, energy storage, battery cells, or solar energy is a plus.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills for editing and generating technical documents.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
· Self-starter, strong initiatives and an excellent communicator
· System and product level mindset
Travel
· Max 5%
Work Location and Status:
· Remote in Canada or U.S. Eastern Time Zone, May need travel to CA or TX pending business needs.
· No visa sponsorship.
Compensation:
· Minimum 15-20 hours/week (desire 40 hours/week), open to extending for future semesters
