Energy Management Customer Services (EM CS) is seeking a business process specialist to map and improve existing processes across their entire value chain from front-end customer case management and offer, to project management, field resource scheduling and financial close out.
Gain a fundamental understanding of the different tools and personnel roles that drive the existing processes from front-end sales through to financial close
Collaborate with functional department head process owners within EM CS to document existing processes and drive process improvement projects to implementation under the sponsorship of process owners.
With support from EM CS team members, determine what tools, programs, and/or processes are used in their value-add activities to produce their respective deliverables. Identify opportunities for improvements and efficiencies through the implementation of new tools and programs, or existing platforms being used.
Understand interrelated business processes and how they affect the value-add activities of the different teams within EM CS. Develop and implement solutions that improve the interaction between the different tools and processes being used, and facilitate the results of the different teams.
Develop improvements and new functionality for the tools currently used by the EM CS, such as Salesforce.com, PM.com, SAP, mySPGI time entry and local server based MS office applications.
Utilize best practices in process optimization already in use from Siemens peer Business Units such as EM MS.
Evaluate the business benefit of the implementation of new solutions or improvements in current platforms. This shall also provide a prioritization of efforts through the fiscal year, and serve as the basis to develop the Key Performance Indicators of this position.
Lead a process driven culture within EM CS by promoting innovative use of tools and automation to maximize productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
BS in Business, Operations or Engineering
Drive to overcome obstacles resulting in successful project completion
Experience with Salesforce.com a plus as well as SAP
Limited travel required.
