Lockheed Martin Energy seeks a Engineer Associate to coordinate the planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects within the areas of assigned responsibility. Candidate will work with senior engineers to develop product design for compliance with program principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Other duties include: Coordinate activities related to technical developments, scheduling, and assist with resolving engineering design and project approval problems. Conduct job walks at client facilities with senior engineers. Review energy assessment studies. Research the latest, available technologies for focused industries. Assist with the writing and review of technical reports for accuracy.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college

Desired skills
Minimum 3.0 GPA

Strong knowledge of Microsoft office programs

Internship in energy efficiency or college level experience from an Industrial Assessment Center

Ability to conduct engineering calculations due to energy savings and process improvement recommendations

Knowledge of Pacific Gas and Electrics (PG&E) energy audit techniques
