The Project Coordinator Intern for Summer 2018 supports the Colorado Springs Program Office as part of the Sales and Customer Operations Division. The Intern would work with Project and Program Managers, Sales Key Account Executives, and Distributors in support of the Rocky Mountain hub. Activities include, but are not limited to, assisting with quality / issue identification and resolution, premium and strategic account oversight, public power project team support, and touch points with non-active accounts.

Travel between the Colorado Springs, Colorado, Alpharetta, Georgia and other Rocky Mountain locations, where key business process owners and/or customer accounts are located.
Review existing accounts, open tickets, and assist with metric development in MS Excel to ensure critical and aged tickets are addressed.
Develop a go forward plan working with key business owners to establish a cadence for non-active account touch points.
Schedule and track the follow up actions with non-active accounts, including but not limited to touch points, get well plans, and critical issue resolutions.
Deliver project updates to key business owners and senior leadership.
Identify project risks and escalate those risks to senior leadership.
Performs other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required.

Required Skills
Ability to understand and communicate information of a technical nature.
Ability to analyze both qualitative and quantitative data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
Ability to write training documents and procedures.
Confidence and ability in speaking publicly and training others.
Medium to high proficiency operating MS Office software.
Ability to manage time efficiently and work in a team environment.

Required Experience
Requires previous Landis+Gyr Internship experience and familiarity with Landis+Gyr business processes.
Requires intermediate to expert skill in MS Office, principally MS Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook.
Must be a current student with a course of study or emphasis in Project Management, Business, Management or other major interested in learning about and leading a project in a matrixed organization.
