The Sales & Operations Planning Analyst will build a sustainable process that will provide the critical forecasting and demand placement landscape to the Company in order to improve our responsiveness to Customer expectations.
Responsible for leading demand strategy, planning, and control for NAM.
Own and facilitate the reporting rhythm with all businesses providing input to forecast (Operations, Sales, Product Management, Finance, etc.).
Develops and manages the forecasting system translating business requirements into demand placement needs.
Communicate forecast to Supply Chain (Procurement group).
Lead monthly communication of overall forecast with risks and opportunities to Executive leadership.
Supports the budgeting process through forecasting and analysis.
Provide input to the integrated resource planning functions (correlate demand to resource capabilities).
Assures accurate and timely communication with business partners supporting both internal and external customers.
Participates in the coordination and release of NPI (New Product Introduction) programs.
Represents the Company by communicating and working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve delivery issues and other production planning issues.
Facilitates cross-functional decision impacting Business Operations.
Establish and maintain demand placement KPI program.
Knowledge with manufacturing/financial system applications.
Strong understanding of forecasting and demand placement (Supply Chain).
Ability to build “tools” in Excel, Word, Access (templates, forms, databases, etc.).
Lean Manufacturing/Supply Chain and/or Six Sigma skillset preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree required; – Supply Chain Management or Business preferred. Master’s Degree a plus.
5+ year’s relevant experience.
Previous SAP, ERP experience desirable, but not required.
Current IBF(Institute of Business Forecasting), or other supply chain related professional certifications strongly desired.
Non-certified candidates are required to become actively engaged towards certification.
