Itron’s gas sales organization is currently seeking a Sales Order Analyst who is interested in a collaborative, interactive, fast paced and high output team. This individual will maintain direct contact with customers before and/or after the sale and will support the sales team by developing and maintaining positive customer relations with clients/customers, which can substantially affect service and/or product revenue(s). This person will work with various departments to meet sales goals in North America. Focus of work is the entire sales cycle.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interface with manufacturing, engineering, factory shipping, purchasing/planning, marketing, sales, finance, accounting and support group to meet customer needs
  • Upload PO’s to doc control for custom part numbers
  • Verification of customer purchase order, to list price or approved quotation/contract
  • Interpret contracts and quotes for special pricing and freight terms
  • Enter customer purchase order into order system
  • Hold monthly forecast meetings with account executive
  • Update and maintain forecast information in system
  • Run reports, export data, format information and forward to internal and external customers
  • High volume of communication to/from customers via email and phone
  • Maintain customer order files and archiving system
  • Identify, research, and resolve issues and discrepancies with customer orders and accounts with QA, Customer Repair, Factory Shipping, Marketing and Accounting
  • Order shipment trouble shooting with the factory scheduler on late orders
  • Assist Accounts Receivable to identify and resolve any billing issues
  • Work with Revenue Accounting to determine recognition guidelines
  • Follow company policies and Standard Operating Procedures processes
  • Compile documentation for internal and external auditors
  • Always maintain a helpful attitude and promote company values when dealing with customers
Experience:

  • This position requires a minimum of 2 years related experience
  • Extensive experience using Excel to include pivot tables and formulas

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.

Travel:
1 – 10%
