As part of Johnson Controls Building Efficiency business, the Advanced Development Team applies this mission to buildings, providing solutions for a more comfortable, safe and sustainable building environment for owners and occupants.
The Intern will be joining the team based in Milwaukee, WI, that performs advanced development of Controls, Building Automation System and Smart Building products used by our customers to operate their buildings and manage their energy costs. This individual will support team members as needed. Work assignment may include, but not limited the following:
How you will do it:
Attending team discussions on requirements, design implementation
Developing software prototypes, software modules, and unit tests
Configuring and maintaining test labs and performing software tests
Technology and third part tool researches
Duration: This is a summer 2018 internship.
What we look for
Currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited U.S. college or university, preferably a freshman or sophomore
Pursuing a degree in software engineering
Knowledge of modern software programming concept
Strong programming skills using one or more programming languages
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Fast learner with a strong desire to learn
U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
