Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and create new qualified sales opportunities from inbound/marketing leads
  • Achieve monthly quota of sourcing qualified opportunities
  • Engage with prospects & customers via telephone and email to analyze their needs
  • Profile accounts and overcome prospect objections to generate quality opportunities for the Regional Sales Manager
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales on lead quality and conversion
  • As this is the first point of contact with the customers, conduct business dealings in a professional, proactive manner
  • Become a trusted resource for internal and external contacts
  • “Multi-channel” follow-up – help uncover new deals and nurture existing opportunities
  • Maintaining active communication with leads by sending monthly targeted materials
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Zero to one year at a Business-to-Business organization in an Inside Sales Development or Inside Sales role
  • Highly motivated to learn
  • Excellent instincts for conversing with technology executives and ability to think on the fly
  • Strong work ethic – possess the desire to master the art of selling
  • Excellent phone skills, phone etiquette, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • BA/BS degree is required or equivalent experience
  • Qualities: Coachable, intellectual, strong work ethic, persistent
