With significant direction from senior management, supervise the First Solar Energy Services Analytics and Systems team which develops and interprets information and data to drive continuous improvement in business, commercial, and field operations. With substantive input from senior management, exercise core managerial responsibilities for the team including staffing and hiring, associate performance evaluation, coaching and mentoring. Participate in initiative planning, budgeting, resource planning, etc.
Maximize value, ensure continuity, integration, and continuous improvement in partnership with all Operations & Maintenance (O&M) business groups, including Planning & Scheduling, Standards, Training, Metrics and Reporting, Operations, Performance Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, Contracts, Business Administration, Business Development, EPC, and Perrysburg application support teams.
4 years experience in the job offered or in performing data analysis, finance, statistical, and/or cost tracking in an energy, manufacturing, or other project controls environment. A master’s degree in an appropriate field can be substituted for up to 2 years of experience.
Coordinating multi-disciplinary projects through business process analysis and leadership; and analyzing dashboards for forecasting by using Maximo CMMS/EAM or SAP/Oracle
Scripting languages such as SQL, VBA, Python, or equivalent
Ability to cultivate, motivate, and manage a team of highly technical individuals
Strong analytical skills
Show leadership as a technical expert
Take direction, identify problems, develop solutions, conduct analysis independently and in collaboration with others
Demonstrated proficiency communicating technical concepts to associates, internal and external customers, management, and commercial and legal team members
Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs
Proficiency reading electrical drawings for power systems
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative or technical area or bachelor’s degree plus equivalent experience required

Manage maintenance and improvements to the FSES implementation of Maximo Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Maximo Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and EZ Max Mobile.
Set up assets, Preventative Maintenance, and Job Plans; and ensure the job site assets/locations are loaded per O&M CMMS/EAM standards.
Oversee the development and implementation of new systems that collect data, perform analysis and effectively report information. Interface where necessary with the FSES Document Management System, PV Tools Fleet Calendar, PV Tools Operator Logs, Maximo Computerized Maintenance Management System, and the GlobalFed plant database.
Coordinate with Finance and Project Controls to implement new processes and to improve existing processes to support greater automation of cost information reporting and standardization across the company as it relates to project spend.
Maintain and improve the FSES cost model including analysis of historical cost data to continuously improve and validate cost model assumptions.
