Role and Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The candidate will lead a small cross functional team comprised of internal team members in order to support management of client’s renewable energy assets and fulfillment of contractual compliance obligations associated with those assets. The candidate will also participate as part of a larger cross functional team under the direction of a PM level II or III, supporting a subset of larger portfolios. Proactively perform tasks and provide services that promote optimization of all portfolios and drive completion of tasks under your management. Responsibilities include:

Lead an internal Radian cross functional team and drive activities to completion for optimizing all portfolios under PM management. Demonstrate ability to quarterback team activities and drive tasks to completion.
Organize and lead external meetings with various key project stakeholders. Demonstrate the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and to identify key takeaways in external meetings.
Learn all commercial, contractual, regulatory, and reporting obligations of an operating portfolio of renewable energy assets (solar, wind, BESS), and manage compliance with all project agreements
Coordinate with Financial Asset management team and assist with asset P&L including AP/AR, cash management, and equity distributions.
Track revenue and expenses and manage SREC administration.
Oversee Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contracts with Technical Asset Management team.
Actively monitor performance, weather, and operational data from operating projects; support analysis of performance gaps, perform cost benefit analyses and help drive improvements in operational & financial metrics
Compile integrated Performance, Operations, and Financial reports for operating assets; report out to investors & counterparties
Coordinate FERC, EIA and other regulatory compliance obligations with support of internal team and 3rd parties.
Learn the process of supporting and coordinating with NERC compliance team
Manage relationships with key project stakeholders, including project owner & investors, power offtakers, O&M providers, internal cross functional team members and multiple external 3rd parties. Demonstrate the ability to learn higher levels of stakeholder management
Work in Lens ® to track operations, contract administration, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting.
Document processes for efficient management of multiple portfolios and work to continually gain efficiencies for the Radian team
Lead and direct activities of at least one Portfolio Associate

Preferred Experience

At least 2+ years working with operating renewable energy assets: solar, wind or BESS
Knowledge of solar PV, wind or BESS equipment and system design
Familiarity with regulatory compliance obligations for C & I and utility-scale renewable energy projects
Business writing experience
Experience leading or being part of a team. Experience leading meetings with internal and external parties
Experience in a service provider environment
Familiarity with interpreting performance data analysis for renewable energy projects
Experience interfacing with O&M, EPC and multiple other types of contractors and third-party vendors
Familiarity with asset management software systems & third-party monitoring platforms

Required Qualification & Education

2+ years renewable energy industry experience in asset management or operations
BS in Business Administration, Energy Studies, Environmental Studies, Engineering, or related field
Knowledge of grid-tied photovoltaic, wind or BESS system design, operation, and management

The Pay Range For This Role Is
