GameChange Solar (GCS), one of the largest US suppliers of solar racking and tracker systems, is seeking civil and mechanical engineering managers to join our project engineering team. We are looking for creative, intelligent, and driven professionals who want to make a positive impact on the planet. As the Genius Tracker Product Manager, this individual will assist in ensuring the Genius Tracker line of single axis solar trackers is at the forefront of the industry, providing a quality product at of GigaWatts worth of solar power plants around the world.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist BD staff and Applications Engineering Team on high level calls with our client’s technical staff as well as securing the Genius Tracker product, in its various configurations, on client approved vendor lists.
Act as point of knowledge for all aspects of the Genius Tracker Product Line for Technical and Non-Technical staff.
Diseminate updates to components or design of the product line.
Assist in managing and updating company technical documentation related to the Genius Tracker product line.
Lead training for technical and non-technical staff.
Participate in feedback loop, taking comments from our customers and providing them to the R&D team as well as consulting R&D team as they develop new offerings and components.
Be up to date with Market trends in the industry – both on modules and tracking systems.
Perform regular competitor analysis and benchmarking: What are our competitors offering and can we do the same or better? Who are our competitors and what are their products.
Maintain intimate familiarity with best design practices and new products used in industry through continuous review of manuals, improved design techniques, etc
Enumerate or quantify the company’s product advantages with White Papers etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors in Engineering Civil or Mechanical Engineering or similar
Minimum 4 year of R&D engineering experience preferred
Experience with single axis solar trackers required.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, reports
Ability to perform work independently and reliably according to work schedules and assignments
Capability for navigating, interpreting and applying code requirements
Commanding proficiency in AutoCAD
Must be self-directed and resourceful, detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
