The Solar Project Coordinator (SPC) reports to our Senior Project Managers (SPMs) and is part of our Operations Team. Together with our SPMs, Engineers, and Site Superintendents, the SPC helps drive the success of the Operations Team and continually improve our project-completions-per-month metrics. The primary responsibility of this position is to support the Senior Project Managers in the management of construction of commercial solar systems.

Duties & Responsibilities
Own the AHJ submittal and approval process including the selection and contracting of engineering professionals, coordinating deliverables and comment responses to achieve deadlines per project schedule. Maintain the project schedule for tasks related to the AHJ approval process, alerting the Sr PMs of risks to project timelines.
Own the Utility submittal and approval process including coordinating deliverables and comment responses to achieve deadlines per project schedule. Maintain regular communication with Utilities to ensure timely interconnection processing. Maintain the project schedule for tasks related to the Utility approval process, alerting the Sr PMs of risks to project timelines.
Deliver bid packages to Subcontractors; assist with RFP process including soliciting, compiling, analyzing, and reporting on bids to Sr PMs.
Own the collection, recording, and maintenance of Subcontractor compliance documentation including insurance, NDA’s, Environmental Health & Safety Survey, Certified Payroll Reports, Change Order documentation and submittals.
Own the project close out procedures and deliverables.
Prepare and record purchase orders, rental agreements, subcontracts and change orders at the direction of Sr PM.
Other responsibilities, as assigned.
1 year of experience in administrative support as a member of a solar construction team
Valid State driver’s license, clean DMV driving record, and ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
