Looking for experience with common distribution system analysis tools such as OpenDSS, CYMDIST, Milsoft, DEW and experience specifically with quasi-static time-series (QSTS) simulations. Intern will work on the development of new QSTS related tools to create the next set of utility relevant tools and study methods needed for higher and higher penetrations of distribution-connected PV. Ideal candidate would be nearing the completion of a PhD in the power system field
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
Must be enrolled as a full-time student in a degree granting program, or graduated in the past 12 months from an accredited institution.
Internship period cannot exceed 12 months past graduation.
Minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
