The Service Contract & Operations Manager is responsible for all resources and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on Customers sites / property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair, and refurbish sold or existing products. This includes all types of maintenance service (i.e., preventive and remedial), managing maintenance facilities, and field services engineering.

Essential Responsibilities:
As the Service Contract & Operations Manager, you will:

  • Act as the single point of contact to the customer for timely and satisfactory resolution of concerns covering a wide variety of support services offered for assigned region, product, or coverage area
  • Be responsible for knowledge of assigned region, coverage area, or product lines, their associated configuration installations, and represent the most direct access to all appropriate internal functions to support the customer
  • Establish and maintain contact to provide on-going technical and business support to assigned customers in designated geographic region or coverage area
  • Participate in discussions about the future of the business, requiring frequent and thorough interaction with other functions
  • Present product / program strategies, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to leadership across GE and important business unit clients
  • Be responsible for complex processes requiring the involvement of many stakeholders, both at the client side and internally
  • Support global team with systemic issue identification, field solution implementations, factory cut-in, and overall customer communication
  • Mentor others within the business to help grow and strengthen the organization


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 4 years of business, engineering, and/or technical experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of business management, engineering, wind customer, or construction operations experience
