Electric-Vehicle Team Lead, Sales Ops 16 views


The Team Lead for Energy Products Sales Operations will be responsible for managing the various sales operations functions to meet the Energy departments sales and delivery goals. A successful candidate will be the driving force for operationalizing regional strategies, the delivery of products to customers, installers and sites, including initiating and execute process and system improvements.


  • Supervise daily activities of Sales Operations team to meet the Americas sales and delivery targets for all Energy products teams
  • Track and report on Sales Operations team compliance to service level agreements on internal processes
  • Constantly review regional market requirements to ensure compliance with local rules and regulations for business operations
  • Lead process improvements for sales and sales support team needs by working cross-functionally between Sales Operations, business stakeholders and Project Management team
  • Forecast inventory and stock needs for all Energy finished goods and service parts at regional distribution centers
  • Coordinate with internal warehousing and distribution teams to manage product throughput out of regional distribution centers
  • Support service operations and program management
  • Work cross-functionally to identify and track fulfillment, service, and material management KPIs
  • Drive all Energy product order fulfillment to completion for revenue recognition
  • Serve as primary point of contact for Finance and Accounting for audits and questions related to Americas sales and delivery activity
  • Collaborate with Service and Supercharger operations to ensure business needs within the Americas are achieved
  • Drive management of reverse logistics from 3PLs and Preferred Tesla partners


  • Minimum 1 year of experience in management or supervisor position
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree
  • Prior experience in Sales Operations or Deployment Operations strongly preferred
  • Superior attention to detail under tight deadlines
  • Ability to take on and drive business initiatives with minimal direction
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to frequent change
  • Comfort working with multiple teams and colleagues from various management levels
  • Willingness to work on a flexible schedule, according to activity volume
  • Flexibility to travel on an as needed basis
  • Customer service oriented
