Analyze current and pending energy policies to assist federal program clients with understanding market impacts and needs to modify federal programming. Leverage knowledge of the technical, business, market, and policy landscape related to one or more disciplines around energy efficiency, fossil energy, and renewable energy to assist clients with strategic and tactical solutions. Apply knowledge of financing mechanisms, federal, state, and local policies, and best practice benchmarks to assist clients with solving challenges related to compliance, business case selling, and outreach. Develop consulting expertise to deliver high–quality work products to support projects. Guide the activities of others on a set of defined tasks. Prioritize deliverables and work independently with little guidance. Offer solutions and new ideas, identify opportunities to grow existing business or support firm–wide initiatives, interact regularly with clients, and present work products to clients.
-Experience with researching advanced energy technologies
-Experience with project management and managing schedules, budgets, and deliverables
-Knowledge of defense energy policy
-Ability to develop and conduct senior–level briefings
-Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
-Experience with Cybersecurity risk management framework for control systems
-Knowledge of energy markets and energy procurement practices
-Knowledge of energy storage technologies
-Active Secret clearance preferred
