The Compensation & Benefits Analyst will support the HR group to ensure employee compensation & benefit packages are aligned with company policies and guidelines, are competitive, and are compliant with all legal and fiscal regulations. This role will provide analytic support for compensation and benefits processes including but not limited to: the annual compensation planning cycle, market survey submission, benchmarking activities, development of variable incentive compensation plans, support during annual open enrollment, year-end processes, and assist with the administration of health and welfare plans.
Assist with the development of policies and procedures to support the compensation and benefit functions.
Participate in market and salary surveys.
Lead the processes for the annual salary merit review process and short-term incentive communications and payouts.
Conduct analyses regarding compensation and benefit programs to meet business objectives.
Prepare reports to equip the business with data-centered solutions to compensation and benefit needs.
Ensure compensation and benefits standards comply with company policies and/or other regulations or legislation.
Assists with developing employees’ communications on various new and existing compensation and benefits programs.
Assists with developing and documenting procedures to streamline administration and ensure compensation and benefits programs meet legal compliance;
Researches and responds to complex questions from employees and leaders regarding compensation & benefits plans , including eligibility, covered services, interpretation and exclusions;
Provides regular analytic reporting for various business needs.
May assist in HRIS anlytics and processes as needed.
Represent Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both external and internal customers.
Support and adhere to Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Must have strong ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
Organizational skills and attention to detail are critical.
Microsoft Excel Skills (preferably advanced skills including VBA Macro)
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent experience.
At least 3 years experience with benefit and/or compensation administration.
