We are searching for a Head of Marketing NA and Digital Solutions who will manage the development of marketing strategy and execution, with an immediate focus on increasing awareness, refining market positioning and generating demand to support company growth and profitability objectives for the Weather business with focus on digital solutions. This position will lead a team of professionals to drive market segment growth through innovative strategies and tactics globally. The position is located in our Louisville, Colorado office. Your key responsibilities include

– Lead the development and execution of the following for Weather based on the business area strategy, the regional strategies, and the corporate marketing strategy:
o integrated global marketing strategy and messaging that results in increased share, sales, and profit growth
o roadmap for key marketing capabilities
o marketing budget and resource plan
o social media strategy
o team structure, competencies, and capability development plan

  • Overall responsibility for all marketing campaigns and product launches executed in support of the business
  • Work cross-functionally across the organization to ensure marketing supports the overall business objectives
  • Responsible for partner and vendor relations in support of the business
  • Articulate technical content into meaningful customer messaging
  • Execute tactics through traditional and digital channels including: web, email, social, trade show, telemarketing, webinar, and publications
  • Adapt content to different target customer personas
  • Maintain a deep understanding of your target market vertical and key personas through VoC (voice of customer)
  • Key member of the North America and digital solutions management group

To be successful in this role, we’re searching for a candidate with the following qualifications

Skills and Knowledge

  • Understand how to market with a global technology company
  • Experience and proven success launching solutions in a high-tech B2B/B2G environment with multiple customer level decision makers, gatekeepers, and influencers
  • Knowledge and experience in at least one of the following industries is preferred:

o Transportation (surface or aviation)
o Meteorology
o Energy or Renewable Energy
o Environmental
o Data Collection and Dissemination

  • Proven experience and expertise in developing global integrated marketing campaigns and execution through multiple channels and tactics
  • Proven experience with copy writing, messaging, and segmentation, and the ability to create a story through messaging that follows a complete buyer’s journey cycle
  • Working knowledge of digital tactics/platforms such as email, PPC, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and marketing automation
  • Experience developing and managing and marketing events including; tradeshows, webinars, and user group meetings
  • Proven success at marketing high value, solution based platforms (hardware, consumables, software, service, support)
  • Demand generation expertise
  • Ability to effectively manage creative resources. Including: translating business objectives into strategy briefs and then leading agency work to deliver on the brief, including the evaluation of work at each stage of development
  • Team player and ability to liaise with multiple cross functions, driving alignment
  • Desire to be part of a growing organization with a focus on collaboration

  • 5+ years of experience with marketing automation and email campaign management
  • 3+ years B2B/B2G digital marketing, messaging, content development, customer journey
  • 3+ years Database management and marketing

Educational Requirements

  • BA/BS in business, marketing or related field / MBA preferred

Required Work Experience

  • 10 years’ relevant experience with proven achievement and success in marketing roles
