Description

You can make a difference for climate and equity.

Slipstream is a national, mission-driven organization that accelerates climate solutions. For everyone. We inspire new solutions to big energy challenges. We are seeking a Copywriter/ Staff Writer to provide support for report writing, blogs, website content, our annual Impact Report, fundraising collateral, proposals, printed materials, emails and social media content.

Do you want to build an equitable clean energy future? Do you have a knack for storytelling to share the organization’s brand? Have you assisted colleagues in writing reports and papers of a technical nature? Do you have experience creating marketing collateral? Then Slipstream needs you.

We partner with governments, philanthropies, and utilities to discover, test, and scale new solutions that save – and decarbonize – energy. We collaborate with communities of color, rural communities, and tribal nations to address historic inequities in the health and economic benefits of clean energy. We’re optimistic, inclusive, and ambitious about our impact.

Our ideal Copywriter/ Staff Writer has experience in solving problems and handling quick turnarounds. Show us how you collaborate and how you include under-represented perspectives to drive better ideas.

You’re a storyteller. You are a seasoned writer. You thrive in a fast-paced environment.

We welcome candidates from all backgrounds. While our physical offices are in Madison, WI and Chicago, IL, we have remote staff in many other states and welcome candidates from Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas or Wisconsin.
