The Role

Join the small but mighty Grants and Incentives Development team at Xos Trucks as the Grants Coordinator! The Grants Coordinator will support Xos customers in qualifying for and being awarded financial incentives for the purchase of Xos trucks and charging infrastructure through the procurement of government grants, incentives, and rebates.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Track and report zero-emission vehicle and infrastructure-related grants for which Xos Trucks and its customers are eligible.
Monitor Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) credits for Xos Trucks and manage reporting through the California Air Resources Board (CARB) database.
Work with Xos customers to collect required documentation for zero-emission funding applications;
Coordinate directly with government agencies and industry partners to move Xos customers through various funding opportunities;
Assist in the gathering of relevant data and information for customer sales proposals as needed.
Work with Xos Sales and Product teams to gather needed information on vehicle delivery progress for grants and incentive applications.
Coordinate with utility providers to move infrastructure projects forward for customers through Xos Energy Services.

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in business, computer science, sustainability, math, or other related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
At least three to four years of project management experience.
At least three years of experience in grant writing and management.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly present data and manage streams of information internally & externally.
Strong proficiency in Excel or similar database applications.
Proficiency in database programs like Microsoft Excel & HubSpot.
Experience tracking accounts and automating associated tasks in a customer relationship management (CRM) platform.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
Two to three years of experience working in the trucking, logistics, or automotive industries.
Passion to build out a career in the zero-emission transportation industry.
Two to four years of experience applying to local, state, or federal grants related to diesel vehicle replacements, sustainable fuels, or sustainable off-road and on-road equipment; OR equivalent experience working on the administrative team of a public agency
