As a part of the Business Strategy Team, you will work with a passionate and mission-driven group to help us comprehensively integrate equity into our business development practices and processes. In this hybrid research and department support role, you will collect, compile, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data related to environmental social justice (ESJ) in the energy efficiency and clean energy space. You will then apply this data to help inform key business development strategies for integrating environmental social justice in our work and to help track, measure, and meet company strategic equity goals. These efforts will ensure that we create solutions that achieve equitable impacts and that equity plays a key role in determining which opportunities we pursue.

Due to the scope of this role, you may touch on many special projects to make it a fulfilling experience. Project opportunities include:
Develop key insight on the market: Research and document key client needs and goals around equitable program impacts
Get hands-on industry experience: Review proposals and utility energy efficiency plans and compile, organize, and perform analysis on qualitative and quantitative data
Meet a variety of industry professionals and deepen your professional network: Work cross-functionally with key team members to develop resources and implement process improvements
To enable you for success, we are seeking candidates with these qualifications:
Commitment to advancing energy and environmental equity
Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
Experience gathering, tracking, and sorting data
Compensation:
Undergraduate student: $20/hr
Graduate student: $23/hr
