Kilowatt Engineering, Inc. has multiple Project Engineer positions available in Salt Lake City, UT and various unanticipated worksites throughout the US. Develop and review basic and intermediate engineering calculations for energy usage, energy savings, and cost savings in mechanical and lighting systems. Scope of systems to include heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and lighting systems. Conduct field work including verification of existing and replaced mechanical equipment and identification of potential energy efficiency projects. Understanding of major equipment or technology types, with a specialty in at least one area. Solid understanding and application of advanced engineering principals. Develop relationships between energy use and independent variables. Manage own timelines, help to train engineers and support Senior Engineers to meet project schedules and budgets. 40hrs/week; $88,899 – $117,746/year
