Nine Dot Holdings in Brooklyn seeks an Analytics Engineer to process and analyze internal data to meet business needs. Work closely with project development, operations, and finance groups to understand data pipelines to improve on data structures and processes. Build data models. Ensure models are scalable and optimized for performance. Implement data quality checks. Implement validation processes. Develop and maintain documentation including data dictionaries, data lineage, and metadata. Translate needs of team into actionable analyses. Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations within BI tooling to provide actionable insights from data. Build tooling to support replicable internal analyses. Assist teams in creating reports and visualizations. Assist in integration of data from outside platforms using APIs into NineDot’s internal data platforms. Job is based out of the New York office but the employee may workremotely from home within commuting distance 2 days per week. Must have at least a bachelor’s degree in math, statistics, economics, engineering, computer science or a closely related degree. Must have at least 3 years experience. Any job title will be acceptable with the required experience including proficiency with data visualization and an analytical tool such as Metabase, Tableau, Power BI or Looker, and experience building dashboards that involve code development and data restructuring to deliver actionable insights. .
