This is an exciting opportunity for you to work in a premiere battery facility, Ultium. As an Environmental Engineer, you will design and implement environmental programs that allow you to collaborate with a diverse group of professionals to manage environmental compliance and conformance. We are currently looking for talented individuals who have a passion for the environment and who want to assist making Ultium Cells a leader in environmental compliance and sustainability.

Engage with the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) and any other local regulatory agencies to ensure implementation of robust environmental programs and to build relationships that support innovation and expedient resolution of concerns (Engagement Leads to Collaboration)
Qualifications
Abilities:
Communicate proficiently to all levels of management with executive presence

Determining compliance & data analysis
Timely and effective problem solving

Connects the team to the outside world
Skills:
Proficient in Air Permitting, Storm Water Permitting, Wastewater Permitting and/or Large Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Requirements.
Must be able to speak and read English
Experience:
The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of direct environmental experience in SWPPP, SPCC, wastewater, Title V air compliance or RCRA hazardous waste experience.
Experience in environmental engineering or related science, preferably at a manufacturing operation.
Basic knowledge of a manufacturing processes is preferred.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree with a major in engineering or related sciences with emphasis on environmental engineering required.
