Summary
The HR Planning Specialist I supports core HR planning and operational activities, including headcount coordination, expatriate travel management, and basic global mobility administration. This entry-level role ensures accurate data management, timely reporting, and effective communication with internal stakeholders.
The position works closely with HR, Finance, and global teams to support workforce planning, expatriate processes, and HR system data integrity within a fast-paced, multicultural manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Assist with expatriate support activities, including housing coordination, visa documentation tracking, and data management
Coordinate business travel processes for first-tier vendor travelers, including invitation letters, scheduling, and documentation
Coordinate and communicate with global headquarters and international stakeholders, including reviewing documentation, report preparation, supporting expatriate processes, and facilitating business travel activities
Track and report workforce and travel-related data for expatriates and vendor travelers
Manage the expense invoice approval process for first-tier vendor travelers and expatriate employees
Support maintaining HR systems and databases with a high level of accuracy and data integrity
Support administrative and analytical tasks for HR planning and daily HR operations
Assist with verifying employee data related to compensation, benefits, and headcount
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on HR planning and operational needs
Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive employee and business information
Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards

Perform other duties as assigned by HR leadership
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; candidates with relevant experience, internships, or demonstrated capability in HR operations, data management, or coordination will be considered
Experience
0-2 years of experience in Human Resources, HR planning, HR operations, or related field preferred
Internship or academic experience in HR, data management, or administrative functions will be considered
Work Authorization
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English required to support communication with global teams
Basic knowledge or experience with HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, ADP, Success Factors) preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit or remain stationary for extended periods while working at a computer and managing HR data
Ability to use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, and office equipment
Ability to occasionally stand, walk, and move throughout office and operational areas to support HR activities
Ability to occasionally lift, carry, and move typical office materials or equipment (e.g., files, laptops, documents)
Ability to perform basic physical activities such as reaching, bending, and light movement in support of administrative tasks
Ability to travel between departments or buildings within the facility as needed
Work Environment
Primarily office-based environment within a manufacturing facility
Frequent use of computer systems, including HRIS platforms (e.g., SAP, ADP, SuccessFactors) and Microsoft Office tools
Regular interaction with internal stakeholders, including HR, leadership, and global teams
Occasional exposure to production or operational areas requiring adherence to safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements
Fast-paced environment requiring strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Requires handling of sensitive and confidential employee and business information
May require flexibility in working hours to support global coordination, expatriate needs, or business travel activities
