What we need: We are seeking a technically savvy, analytically minded Product Manager who is excited about shaping the next generation of QuantumScape’s battery products. In this role, you will drive the creation of MRDs and PRDs, define performance and design requirements rooted in robust datasets, and serve as a key liaison between Product, R&D, Engineering, and business stakeholders. You’ll play a central role in shaping our product roadmap, ensuring our technology aligns with customer needs, competitive benchmarks, and market opportuniti

es.

What You’
l
l do: Develop and maintain Market Requirements Documents (MRDs) and Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) for target applications and segments. Create and manage high‑quality product requirement documents across the QuantumScape product portfolio to guide internal development and alig
nment.Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets from internal testing, customer feedback, competitive benchmarks, and third‑party sources to define performance, reliability, safety, and design specifications that inform product and cell develo
pment.Serve as the subject matter expert for technical requirements—including performance, safety, and qualification needs—across lithium‑ion and next‑generation energy‑storage technologies. Evaluate competitive technologies to assess strengths, weaknesses, and market positi
oning.Act as a key liaison between Product, R&D, Engineering, and Business teams to ensure alignment and clarity on specifications, performance requirements, and product objectives throughout the development life
cycle.Support the development and ongoing refinement of QuantumScape’s product roadmap, ensuring strategic alignment with company goals, technology maturation, and market opportun
ities.Integrate technical and market insights into roadmap to ensure products are meeting the evolving needs of QuantumScape customers and target seg
ments.Coordinate with stakeholders to communicate performance updates, product milestones, and component specifica
