We are seeking an HSEC Intern to support our Milford, Utah operations. This three-month internship follows a rotational schedule, with three weeks on site in Milford and three weeks off, working 10-hour days during on-site rotations. Fervo provides housing, a company vehicle, & covers travel costs to and from the site. A per diem is also provided for meals while on site. The role is designed for motivated students eager to gain hands-on experience in health, safety, environmental management, and large-scale construction and drilling project operations.

Responsibilities
Daily HSEC Support: Compile daily reports, conduct life-saving rule inspections, and perform site visits across drilling, completions, and construction
Operational Readiness & Coordination: Assist with logistics for tours and partner/investor visits, and prepare materials for monthly contractor meetings
Field Assessments & Risk Management: Review Job Risk Assessments, permits-to-work, and area controls; track sign-offs; monitor mitigation measures
Incident Management: Support investigations, root cause analyses, and contractor follow-ups to ensure timely closure of corrective actions
Community Engagement: Contribute to outreach initiatives and coordinate local stakeholder visits

Required Qualifications
Undergraduate student in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
Minimum 3.4 GPA
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in the field
