Provides OpenStudio building energy modeling software support, including and not limited to:
Qualified candidates located in the states where VEIC conducts business will also be considered: CA, CT, DC, DE, HI, IL, MA, MD, ME, MI, MT, NJ, NY, PA, OH, RI, VA, VT, and WI. Data mining, information retrieval, machine learning, and/or statistics; documentation of analysis procedures and functions; development of analysis and computational tools;
Provides OpenStudio building energy modeling software support, including and not limited to:
Version control systems such as Git or Subversion.
Provides energy modeling and data analytical services using OpenStudio and other related software tools for VEIC clients.
Minimum of 1 year of experience developing software to support data-based business decisions.
Refactoring, unit testing, and object-oriented programming techniques;
Knowledge of HVAC systems and building science.

Knowledge of environmental analysis plug-ins like Ladybug, Honeybee for Grasshopper/Rhino 3D are a plus.
Exposure to building modeling techniques, HVAC systems, and building science.

Demonstrated ability to put together concise, articulate communications to internal stakeholders.
Experience using EnergyPlus or OpenStudio, particularly in scripted environments.
