The Fuels and Transportation Division of the California Energy Commission ensures the provision of adequate and reliable transportation energy and infrastructure in the state. It balances economic, public health, safety, and environmental impacts. The division administers the Clean Transportation Program (CTP), which supports the deployment of zero-emission vehicle infrastructure for electric and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.
EV Infrastructure Solicitation Principal (Energy Commission Specialist II/I) in the Passenger Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Branch / Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Deployment Unit.
✔️Salary Range: $7,367.00 – $9,422.00 per month, full benefits, and state pension plan!

Desirable Qualifications:
Ability to think critically and develop creative solutions to barriers associated with electric vehicle charging infrastructure deployment.
Knowledge of ZEV infrastructure; prior experience working in a ZEV infrastructure policy or deployment role is desirable.
Knowledge of the regulatory process; experience leading or actively participating in rulemakings is desirable.
Experience contributing to diverse and multi-disciplinary peer teams and the ability to identify key items in complex projects with many variables.
Ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders and foster collaboration.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, including effective writing and editing for both technical and non-technical audiences; ability to communicate observations, results, and recommendations verbally and in writing to management and outside stakeholders; ability to draft public-facing material and content.
