📢The Energy Commission seeks *TWO* Senior Electric Vehicle Program Specialists (EGSS I’s) to perform technical and analytical work supporting California’s electric generation planning and clean energy initiatives. The Senior Electric Vehicle Program Specialists will develop and analyze energy and EV charging infrastructure data and implement data management solutions to ensure accuracy and compliance with state standards, such as charging station utilization or reliability data. The primary focus of these positions will be to work with electric vehicle charging infrastructure data. This entails the collection and processing of large datasets from internal and external data sources.

These roles include participating in project teams, preparing reports and briefings, performing technical analyses and serving as a liaison to stakeholders, including agencies, private partners, and the public. The Senior Electric Vehicle Program Specialists will also develop educational tools, conduct workshops, and respond to technical inquiries to support program participation and compliance for both internal and external stakeholders.

Desirable Qualifications:
Excellent program management skills for data related efforts, including being able to oversee significant responsibilities for a government funding program and ensuring data collection requirements are being properly implemented.
Experience with stakeholder outreach and engagement.
Great skills related to data management, collection, and analysis.
Knowledge of state and federal reporting standards for clean energy, EV infrastructure, and related programs.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize work activities, and deliver high-quality, timely work products.
Skilled in interacting with all levels of technical staff, management, commissioners and external stakeholders.
Ability to draft, review, and edit technical reports, policy briefs, and data-driven recommendations for various audiences, including CEC leadership and the public.
Knowledge of electric vehicles, particularly of charging infrastructure technologies.
Strong communication skills, including writing skills.
Proven capability to plan and conduct public workshops, outreach events, and stakeholder engagements across diverse groups.
