This is a full-time position, starting immediately. LACI operates out of the La Kretz Innovation Campus, in the bustling Downtown LA Arts District. Since we are rapidly growing, you will be getting in on the ground floor at LACI, with the opportunity to evolve with us and shape your future here. Some travel may be required.

Content Creation: Create compelling and engaging content for social media platforms including posts and videos, and collaborate with the Integrated MarCom team on graphics, blog articles and other content. You know content creation: You have a natural affinity for the analysis and numbers behind content creation. You have a strategy for communicating a message through the proper channels whether it’s through email, social media, or print
Ability to have an active role in events on campus, some events may require the ability to stand for long periods of time, set up/break-down, and other requirements
Manage all social media accounts: Including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to inquiries/comments in a timely manner. Utilize social media analytics tools to track performance, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for optimization. Experiment with new social media features, formats, and platforms to drive innovation and engagement

The Social Media Associate is responsible for creating, managing and executing all social media campaigns to share the benefits, features and successes of LACI programs with audiences. This includes, but is not limited to, planning and executing recruitment campaigns, creating social media and digital communications strategy and content, all in alignment with LACI’s strategic goals, to communicate and promote LACI programs, pilots, training and recruitment opportunities, events and high profile/legislative visits, advocacy and policy outreach .

Social Media Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement a cohesive social media strategy to drive recruitment efforts, increase brand awareness, build thought leadership presence, drive website traffic, and generate leads (applicants) for LACI programs. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in social media marketing, recruitment campaigns and cleantech innovation. Prepare regular reports and presentations on social media performance, insights, and recommendations for optimization to key stakeholders
