Scope of Position

The EV Sales Associate will assist EV Business Development Originators across all channels (Direct, Fleet, Channel Partner & Software) with sales, proposal preparation, and contract start up throughout the project lifecycle. The Sales Associate will create prospect proposals and other sales deliverables through coordination with other PowerFlex teams. This role is on the Business Development team and works closely with the Origination, Development Engineering, Project Development, Incentive Management, Legal, and Execution Teams.

Responsibilities
90% Business Development Originator Support
Field and screen sales inquiries (calls and emails), including initial customer qualification presentations and discussions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support proposal development and client response.
Lead EV contract development from initiation to execution, following standard process and maintaining timely and complete records in support systems (Agiloft, Salesforce, SharePoint, etc.). Collaborate with business development, development engineering, and legal teams as needed throughout the process.
Coordinate project incentives by delivering clear deadlines, project schedules and LOIs in coordination with the Incentives Team.
Coordinate business development and project development to execution team and stage handoff.
Collaborate with business development originators and cross-functional teams to support timely customer communication and engagement.
Maintain strong and timely data accuracy in Agiloft, Salesforce, SharePoint and ClickUp (and any additional support or enterprise systems).
10% Process Improvements
Advocate for clear understanding of the entire EVSE development process across the EVSE program.
Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes, sales tracking and reporting, and sales materials.
Support the growth of new tools and processes in contracting and project handoff tasks.

Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Energy or other similar fields or relevant experience
1+ years of experience in sales, project coordination or similar professional positions
Relevant work in the EV charging or renewable energy industry a plus
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Basic understanding of contract structures
Basic understanding of federal and local state EVSE policies and incentives
Basic understanding of RFI/RFP structures
Strong work ethic and clear communicator
Organizational skills and ability to create structure and order
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and participate on cross-functional teams to complete complex projects
Strong time management skills in an environment of frequently changing deadlines
Client-facing skills and comfort working with external stakeholders
Requires little to no supervision to perform tasks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and ClickUp preferred
