Geotechnical Engineer
GameChange Solar (GCS), one of the largest U.S. suppliers of solar racking and tracker systems, is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing engineering team. We are looking for creative, driven professionals who want to apply geotechnical engineering principles at massive scale and make a measurable impact on the global energy transition. In this role, you will play a key part in enabling the installation of gigawatts of solar capacity worldwide, supporting projects from early development through construction. Geotechnical Engineer Responsibilities:
Review site geotechnical reports during project development and support the GCS business development team with technical evaluations.
Identify geotechnical design risks and provide preliminary recommendations for foundation type, embedment depth, and feasibility.
Develop load test (pull test) procedures for field verification of foundation designs.
Review and interpret pull test results and collaborate with internal geotechnical and structural engineers to finalize foundation designs.
Interface with clients, contractors, and external engineers, and participate in project meetings as needed.
Support continuous improvement of internal geotechnical design practices and standards.

Geotechnical Engineer Skills & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
Minimum 2 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and geotechnical reports.
Familiarity with applying engineering codes and standards to design decisions.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Field oversite and planning of geotechnical field investigations
Prior experience with deep foundations, driven piles, or load testing.
Experience with LPILE or similar lateral pile analysis software
Moderate proficiency in AutoCAD
Experience working with ERP systems such as Netsuite
Experience in utility-scale solar

Work Environment:
Business casual attire in the office
PPE is required for site visits and field activities. Periodic travel may be required. Less than 15%
