Due to growth-driven expansion of its Commodity Sales & Trading group, Karbone is seeking an Operations Analyst to join its Middle Office.

Responsibilities:
Support operations for North American and European Commodity Desks covering RECs, Power, Capacity, RINs, LCFS, RNG, and GOs/REGOs.
Manage the full contract cycle, including onboarding, credit review, negotiation, execution, and recordkeeping.
Draft, review, and execute trading documents, including master agreements, confirmations, and credit support documents.
Ensure timely and accurate trade capture, validation, and confirmation in internal and external systems.
Liaise with counterparties and vendors to finalize transactional documents.
Oversee invoicing and product delivery in coordination with internal teams.
Maintain organized systems for executed agreements and amendments.
Partner with Trading, Risk, and Finance teams to align contracts with operational and risk guidelines.
Monitor compliance requirements (e.g., CFTC, FERC) to keep transactions and documentation current with regulations.
Help develop and refine policies, templates, and procedures to streamline contract workflows.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Environmental Studies, or related required
1-3+ years of experience as a back or middle office analyst, ideally supporting trading, commodity markets, energy, or financial services.
Familiarity with reviewing, drafting, and managing trading contracts, master agreements, and onboarding documentation.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to track and manage multiple document workflows simultaneously.
Interest in renewable energy and environmental markets is highly desired.

The estimated base salary for this position is estimated to be $70,000 – $90,000 per year. Total compensation includes bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.
