Summary

Greenskies Clean Focus is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This role will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting requirements, and ensuring the timely completion of month-end and year-end processes. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Controller and CFO on financial analysis, process improvements, and strategic initiatives that support the continued growth of the company. The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement are highly valued.

Duties and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Accurately prepare and report financial results to investors, lenders, and other stakeholders.
Assist the Controller in coordinating the annual audit for the Development Company and support external auditors with requested documentation.
Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial statements and support schedules.
Forecast, monitor, and analyze the financial performance of Development Companies.
Perform traditional accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, journal entries, account reconciliations, and cash management.
Prepare and review bank reconciliations and maintain the accuracy of the general ledger.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Support budgeting, variance analysis, and financial reporting activities.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies and procedures.
Work closely with the CFO and Controller to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; CPA or MBA preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate accounting, treasury management, or public accounting.
Strong financial analysis, Excel, and financial modeling skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience is strongly preferred.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with a high degree of urgency and accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
