What The Role Is

The Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting is a vital team member participating in the preparation of the Company’s SEC filings and analysis of complex transactions.

What You’ll Be Doing

Participate in the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings such as Forms 10-Q and 10-K, including the completion of financial statements, footnotes, management discussion and analysis, and external auditor compliance checklists.
Utilize financial reporting software to create, maintain, and update reporting templates and data queries.
Assist in researching and determining the appropriate technical accounting treatment for significant non routine transactions, including new business acquisitions and divestitures and debt and equity transactions, through the use of research tools and relevant guidance and documenting the conclusions.
Assist in researching reporting matters, accounting principles, and financial reporting rules.
Assist in integrating new accounting guidance into accounting policies and ongoing financial accounting and reporting.
Maintain financial reporting skills by actively participating in continuing education and utilization of online tools.
Assist with special projects in reporting and accounting research as needed.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field or equivalent in training and experience.
Two to four years of experience demonstrating a working knowledge of accounting and reporting principles.
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and SEC reporting rules and regulations.
Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel, and savvy with respect to general ledger and reporting software such as SAP, HFM, or OneStream, etc.
Robust writing and verbal communication skills.
Flexible interpersonal style and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Solid attention to detail, with the capability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
Strong analytic abilities.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision to complete responsibilities, while also able to collaborate with others on the financial reporting team and develop and maintain cross-functional business partnerships.

What Would Be Nice

Public accounting or SEC reporting experience strongly preferred.
CPA designation or working toward a certification a plus.
Prior experience with Workiva filing software Wdesk preferred.

The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, relevant and demonstrated experience, education, training and certifications, and other factors permitted by law. This role is eligible to earn an annual cash bonus, subject to personal and company performance goals.

Salary Range Across all U.S. Locations

$85,000—$115,000 USD
