JUWI is looking for an experienced individual who will have demonstrated excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing. The Site Quality Control Manager will be responsible for ensuring materials and equipment meet set standards of quality, reliability, and performance. The Site Quality Control Manager will be tasked with setting and implementing internal/external quality requirements to ensure company product and services meet the customer expectations. Work to be located at assigned project site(s) in North America.
In this role, you’ll:
The Site Quality Control Manager will conduct assessment of company policies and procedures to improve, develop and maintain in-house quality procedures and plans.
Collaborating with subcontractor’s quality personnel to implement procedures, systems, and standard operation.
Implement and monitor quality assurance standards to ensure consistent product quality.
Conduct quality audits to make sure set quality policies and procedures are being adhered to.
Establish procedures and processes for sampling, recording and reporting of quality data.
Maintain proper records and documentation of quality tests and other quality-related activities.
Become familiar with all project engineering and design document and JUWI’s Project Procedure Manual.
Conduct daily field inspections of the work in progress, log and remedy (if required) results of inspections and QC procedures. Plan and perform audits per electrical QA plan.
Review all subcontractor QA plan & procedures to bring all plans into conformance with project requirements.
Immediately report any quality and safety deficiencies identified during field inspections to the Site Manager.
While on-site, become completely familiar with the project plan, schedule, and plan of the day.
Anticipate and avoid or minimize potential problems by maintaining current knowledge of overall project status and assist in resolution of differences or problems.
Ensure documentation is complete for all areas of responsibility and provide updates as needed to input progress on the project plan.
Prepare and present to management reports of quality operations.
Qualification:
Accredited university degree or technical school diploma with applicable on job training.
Excellent time management skills and ability and desire to mentor less experience team members.
Exceptional organizational skills and ability and excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
Experienced and strong understanding of engineering and design software packages.
Possess exemplary standards of honor, safety, management, ethics, quality, and productivity.
Ability to plan, coordinate and analyze situations and demonstrate efficiency in managing multi-disciplinary tasks.
Experience with managing electrical subcontractors.
Be familiar with the quality assurance requirements necessary in an electrical installation environment.
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and coordination skills.
Autonomous: take initiative and organize work in an independent manner.
Team management, team player, stress-resistant; frequent project related travel is expected.

Physical Demands:
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
The employee must be able to navigate construction sites by climbing, walking in and out, and through trenches/pits and overcome some obstacles in the path.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and outdoor weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

$90,000-$110,000
