This role encompasses income tax reporting, indirect tax compliance, and accounting-based analysis. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Tax, the analyst will be responsible for maintaining detailed workpapers, ensuring accurate reporting across both direct and indirect tax areas, and assisting with entity-level reconciliations that align the general ledger, fixed asset schedules, and tax filings.

Responsibilities
Prepare quarterly and annual income-tax provisions under ASC 740, including current and deferred-tax calculations, roll-forwards, and rate reconciliations.
Support federal and state income-tax compliance for corporate and partnership entities; assist in preparation and review of Forms 1120, 1065, and K-1s.
Maintain and reconcile tax-basis balance sheets, capital accounts, and partner allocations.
Coordinate indirect-tax compliance for all U.S. jurisdictions, including:
Real and personal property-tax filings and assessments
Sales and use-tax registrations, filings, and exemption management
Business license and gross-receipts filings as applicable
Maintain ITC/Transferability documentation, cost-segregation and fixed-asset schedules, and placed-in-service support for renewable-energy projects.
Assist with audit responses for income, property, and sales/use-tax examinations.
Develop and refine recurring reporting templates, process controls, and data-flow automation from the G/L and project-accounting systems.

Required Skills and Competencies
Strong foundation in corporate and partnership accounting and related tax concepts.
Working knowledge of indirect taxes, including property, sales and use, and personal-property compliance.
Proficiency in GAAP/ASC 740 reporting principles and the linkage between financial statements and tax filings.
High competency in Excel; ability to build reconciliations, pivot analyses, and trace differences between book and tax.
Strong organizational and documentation skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Clear communicator able to collaborate with accounting, finance, development, and external advisors.
Proactive, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple concurrent filings.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in public accounting or a corporate tax department.
CPA license or progress toward certification preferred.
Experience with indirect-tax compliance systems or state filing platforms a plus.
Exposure to renewable-energy, infrastructure, or capital-intensive industries preferred.
Familiarity with tax-provision or compliance software (OneSource, CorpTax, Alteryx, or equivalent) desirable
