About the job
You will assist with efforts related to Scout Clean Energy’s Land Administration matters such as Lease, Agreement & Payment Processing, Landowner Communications, and Landowner Negotiations. Tasks include Lease Processing, Recording, Quality Control, Data Entry, Mailings, Shipment of Scout collateral to external teammates, Continuous Improvement Initiatives, assisting with Landowner outreach efforts. Your work will culminate in a Summer project outlined below.
Summer Project:
Support the review of approximately 1,500 agreements using the Everbolt platform to identify and track lease deviations. Document findings in SharePoint and escalate high-risk items to the Project Manager
Collaborate with Real Estate, Legal, and Development teams to define low, medium, and high-risk criteria, and log all high-risk deviations in Salesforce
Partner with the Development and Real Estate teams to help enhance and improve the Everbolt user experience and interface

This position will begin in May 2026. The internship will be a full-time (40 hr/week) commitment for the duration of the 12-week internship program. Our ideal candidate will be able to work out of our Boulder office during the duration of the internship program per the program requirements. For New projects specifically most of your work will be done in the office because this role involves handling documents received in hard copy from landowners.

Requirements

Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a related field
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
High proficiency with Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint
Must be able to work in Boulder, Colorado
Preferred additional qualifications:
Prior GIS experience
Prior CRM experience, such as Salesforce, Asana, or similar
Prior internships or other experience related to Real Estate, Renewable Energy, or Electric Utilites
Aspirations for a career in Real Estate, Land Acquisition, and/or Project Development
Availability for occasional travel to project sites (1 or 2 trips throughout internships)

Compensation
Hourly Rate: $25-30/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
