Material Planner I
The Material Planner is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate supply of materials needed for production. This role coordinates with procurement, suppliers, production, and logistics teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize shortages or excesses, and support overall manufacturing efficiency

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, schedule, and manage material requirements to meet production schedules and customer demand.
Monitor inventory levels and adjust planning parameters to balance supply and demand effectively.
Create and maintain material requirement plans (MRP) and ensure data integrity in ERP systems.
Collaborate with procurement to place and track purchase orders, resolve discrepancies, and expedite materials as required.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries and handle any supply chain disruptions or delays.
Analyze demand forecasts, lead times, and consumption data to anticipate material needs.
Work closely with production planners and warehouse teams to optimize material flow and minimize waste.
Prepare reports and KPIs related to inventory, on-time delivery, shortages, and supplier performance.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline planning processes and improve material availability.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
0-2 years of experience in materials planning, production planning, or supply chain management (manufacturing environment preferred).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools: Word, advanced Excel, Power Point.
Knowledge of inventory management principles and lean manufacturing concepts
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Highly organized and detail-oriented
