Overview
Responsible for creation and review of all assigned proposals, from concept to presentation to the client. This will include establishing a consistent process and working closely with estimators, business development and other subject-matter experts, as required.
Location & Travel Details: This is an onsite position, based at our office in Phoenix, AZ

MasTec Renewables group is part of the MasTec Clean Energy & Infrastructure business segment. MasTec’s Clean Energy and Infrastructure Group (CE&I) is a $4 billion annual revenue business unit that provides construction services for industrial facilities; building products manufacturers, power generation facilities, manufacturing plants; solar, wind, and thermal energy plants; buildings, and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Review client requests for proposals (RFPs) to determine proposal deliverables and recap for team
Collaborate with pursuit team on proposal response materials
Prepare proposals that meet objectives of company, client and timeline
Review, and edit as necessary, proposal content provided by contributing team members
Assist in gathering and maintaining company information for use in proposals, prequalifications and other requests
Assist in preparation and submission of finished proposal (occasionally including: printing, binding and delivery to client)
Maintain knowledge of estimating methods, project execution procedures and company branding standards
Ensure completed proposals are professional, cohesive and credible
Attend estimating meetings for the wind, solar and BESS estimating teams
Create organization charts and resumes as assigned
Complete and submit prequalification documentation
Download bid packages and update relevant parties
Provide daily checks of owner sites with active bid packages for updated documents; download and notify
Maintain Estimating calendar and internal database for tracking client portals
Develop and maintain consistent document control guidelines with regard to document locations, naming and numbering convention
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English or related field preferred
One to two years related experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Detail oriented with excellent copy-editing, grammar, style, spelling, punctuation and proofreading skills
Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
Ability to work well under pressure and deliver high-quality output under strict deadlines
Strong interpersonal, communication and team building skills
Ability to collaborate with groups throughout the company
Knowledge of company and office departments
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate with cross-functional teams

Understanding of construction proposals process and tools necessary to implement within assigned timeline
Ability to work well under pressure and deliver high-quality output under strict deadlines
Solid interpersonal, communication and team building skills
Ability to collaborate with groups throughout the company

Strong knowledge of company and office departments
Proficient in Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
