Role Overview
The Finance Operations Analyst supports the day-to-day financial operations of the company’s energy portfolio, with a primary focus on invoicing, accounts receivable, and project-level financial support. This role is ideal for an early-career finance professional looking to build hands-on experience in revenue operations, project economics, and cross-functional finance within a growing energy platform.
The Analyst will work closely with Finance, Accounting, Asset Management, and Commercial teams to ensure accurate billing, timely collections, and reliable financial data.
Key Responsibilities
Support end-to-end invoicing for energy projects, ensuring invoices are accurate, timely, and aligned with contract terms
Assist with accounts receivable tracking, customer follow-ups, and aging analysis
Respond to routine invoice and payment inquiries from internal teams and customers
Support project-level P&L tracking by maintaining revenue and cost data and assisting with variance analysis
Maintain financial records related to customer contracts, leases, and amendments
Assist with onboarding new projects and customers from a finance operations perspective
Support month-end close activities related to revenue, AR, and project costs
Help document and improve finance operations processes as the portfolio scales
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Energy, or a related field
0–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or operations (internships welcome)
Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage recurring deadlines and follow processes
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Exposure to invoicing, AR, or billing processes
Interest in energy, infrastructure, or project-based businesses
Experience working with financial systems or ERP tools
What Success Looks Like
Invoices are issued accurately and on time
AR data is well maintained and issues are escalated appropriately
Project financial data is organized, reliable, and audit-ready
The analyst becomes a dependable execution partner within Operations Finance

$65,000 – $85,000 a year
