THE OPPORTUNITY

The Investment Analysis Manager plays a key role supporting Zelestra’s Business Development, Commercial, Project Finance, and M&A teams by leading financial modeling and contributing to the financial structuring of utility-scale renewable energy assets across the U.S. portfolio.

What We Are Looking For

Bachelor’s in Finance or Economics; MBA or Master’s preferred
5+ years in corporate finance or investment banking (financial institution, consulting, or industrial)
Knowledge of Project Finance financing structures
Strong Excel modeling skills — complex, accurate, and interpretable models
Experience modeling solar, wind, and/or BESS assets
Familiarity with financial modeling best practices for infrastructure
Fast learner who takes initiative in a high-performing, fast-paced environment
Proficient to using AI tools for process efficiency

What You Will Do

Own the Financial Model

Own and maintain financial models and asset/project valuations
Implement updates and run business scenarios to assess project viability
Use market data to model financial structures for renewable energy assets

Support Key Business Teams

Support Business Development on portfolio asset valuations and new investment opportunities
Advise the Commercial team on required energy sale prices to meet minimum return IRRs
Contribute to Investment Committee and Board of Directors presentations for approvals

Track & Report Returns

Support central reporting functions to track returns on operational projects
Deliver clear, timely, and transparent stakeholder updates
Use AI tools to create process efficiencies

Compensation And Benefits

The anticipated starting salary for this position is based on experience, qualifications, and education in a remote-working environment; $145,000 – $175,000.
