Reporting to the Director of Recruitment, the in-house Recruiter will be responsible for managing the recruitment process and candidate experience from initial outreach to offer stage including scheduling interviews, updating the Applicant Tracking System, and ad-hoc tasks related to organizational development. Additional responsibilities include executing the initial research for job openings, conducting preliminary phone screenings, and managing candidate experience. This is a very exciting opportunity to go in-house and learn to work within an organization. The ideal candidate is extremely organized and has hands-on experience running the recruitment process from start to finish. The ability to work independently and as a team member are critical, as well as the desire and innovative mind set to operate as an important contributor within a fast-pace, early stage company environment.


  • Proactively source candidates and generate long-lists of potential candidates in solar market through research using LinkedIn, Google, and media outlets
  • Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges, and other partners
  • Attract and engage candidates by managing job boards and social platforms including LinkedIn, Handshake, Indeed, etc.
  • Participate in recruitment events i.e. job fairs and conferences
  • Schedule all phone and in-person interviews directly with candidate and with third-party agencies
  • Conduct preliminary phone screenings for appropriate positions and answer initial inquiries
  • Attend job-launch meetings with Director of Recruitment and help implement recruitment plan for each department and hiring manager
  • Manage recruitment database/ATS (Greenhouse) and run monthly recruitment reports
  • Deliver solar market intelligence to Director of Recruitment
  • Manage candidate experience from initial outreach to placement
  • Demonstrate to candidates a positive reflection or our brand and company
  • Adherence to fair employment laws and practices

Must be passionate about the renewable energy business, hardworking and thrive in the fast pace of a rapidly growing, early stage company. In addition, the Recruitment Manager must possess:

  • 2-5 years’ experience working as Recruitment Manager, Recruitment Consultant, or Recruiting Coordinator at an agency or internally
  • Proven ability to quickly and accurately solve problems and come up with value added solutions
  • Track-record of working on teams to support recruitment efforts
  • Outstanding organizational and people skills
  • Exceptional understanding of recruitment process
  • Impeccable history of professional interaction with candidates
  • Experience identifying and placing top talent
  • Attention to detail
