The Project Development Analyst will provide information, documentation, and overall support to Project Managers and other Development staff to assist with the development and construction of wind and solar plants for an assigned US region.

Main accountabilities:

• Develop and maintain project budget and cash flow forecasting models for projects
• Facilitate the creation of capex estimates for new projects by coordinating with internal stakeholders
• Create and/or manage internal tools for tracking efforts to develop/construct projects and for coordinating internal resources and priorities
• Assist energy sales team to structure power purchase agreement offers to counter-parties for new growth projects
• Perform underwriting of project contracts, permits, and agreements by reviewing key commercial terms to ensure proper valuation of and forecasting of cash flows
• Coordinate and assemble project proposals to landowners and utilities
• Support internal reporting and project tracking efforts for project schedules and budgets
• Support investor due diligence and financial closing for projects under construction
• Assist with state, federal, and regional permitting of wind and solar plants
• Assist with land acquisition activities for wind and solar plants
• Participate in the preparation of proposals that are submitted to utilities

Position Requirements

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
• 0 – 2 years of progressively responsible project management experience in energy or a related industry
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software (particularly Excel)
• Proficiency in SAP and SQL is preferred
