About This Opportunity
We are seeking a part time Program Specialist (Sr or Level II). In this role, you will support the administration of Cascade Energy’s Aquafficiency water/wastewater programs providing incentive funding for energy efficiency projects, Strategic Energy Management (SEM), and Project engineering teams. Working within a program-specific team, the key role of a Program Specialist is to drive the work supporting the team’s processes which showcase the energy savings achieved for clients. This includes project tracking, scheduling, invoicing, performing quality control reviews, drafting summary reports, and writing proposals. The Program Specialist carries out this role at levels I and II depending on their qualifications and experience, the complexity of the program needs, and their time spent working in this capacity at Cascade.
What You Will Be Doing

Provide overall general administrative support to the program team.
Use program-specific tools, such as calculators and forms, and help both internal and external customers use and troubleshoot the use of program-specific tools.
Use program-specific software programs, such as SharePoint, Ajera, and Gazebo to support team tracking and reporting needs.
Ensure accurate project status, auditable records and documentation, and that projects are proceeding as planned.
Manage program-related data entry and file management needs into programs such as Gazebo and SharePoint.
Process program-specific paperwork, such as incentive applications.
Confirm accuracy of information, reaching out to customers, vendors, and program staff as needed.
Effectively communicate with program participants in a variety of roles to collect necessary project information.
Support program-related training efforts to both internal and external customers. This could include developing PowerPoint presentations, tracking attendance, running web meetings, and supporting development and routing of workshop materials.
Manage monthly invoice process for team, which could include invoicing to utilities/programs for reimbursement, managing program bank accounts, budget reconciliation, and issuing checks to customers. Identify and resolve any problems associated with data integrity of invoicing or billing.
Perform administrative quality checks of reports, presentations, memos, collateral, and other program-specific documents. Ensure all program requirements plus formatting/branding guidelines are met.
Prepare routine reports for both internal and external customers. This may involve running reports from program-specific software, analyzing data for accuracy and completeness, reconciling inconsistencies, reaching out to others for highlights/updates, and inserting exported information into report templates.
Support the coordination and planning of meetings, events, webinars, conference calls, etc.
Record and publish meeting minutes upon request.
Assist with team strategy planning.
This is a part-time position (20 – 24 hours per week) located near our Pleasant Grove, Utah office. Expectations are to be able to work in office 2-3 times per month. Minimal travel is anticipated for this role.
Qualifications
Applicants for this role are required to have:
Associate or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience
Level II: Two years or more of work experience in a technically focused, customer service role
Sr Level II: Four years or more of work experience in a technically focused, customer service role
Previous experience managing multiple customers and programs across multiple locations
A successful candidate should also demonstrate these preferred characteristics and/or skills:
Previous experience with continuous improvement programs desirable
Experience in the energy industry preferred
Education in business administration, project management or similar areas of study

Compensation & Benefits

The target salary range for this position in Pleasant Grove, Utah is:
Program Specialist II $56,300 – $70,400 *; Sr Program Specialist $70,400 – $88,000 * (*this is full time equivalent and will be adjusted based upon the agreed number of work hours)
However, final salary offered may vary depending on non-discriminatory factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, and geographical location if different than the above.
