Summary

The Production Planning Specialist supports daily sales operations, demand planning, and investment coordination activities within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for executing sales order processes, assisting with demand alignment, and maintaining accurate data and documentation across planning and reporting systems.

The position works closely with internal teams and global headquarters to support operational activities, ensure data accuracy, and contribute to efficient coordination between sales, production, and investment functions in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

Create and manage sales orders and return orders within ERP systems
Support development and maintenance of sales plans based on customer demand
Prepare and issue pro-forma and commercial invoices, ensuring accurate documentation and recordkeeping
Coordinate with logistics and production planning teams to communicate customer demand requirements
Assist with onboarding of new customers, including system setup and coordination with internal teams
Create and maintain customer accounts within internal systems in coordination with HQ and business teams
Support monitoring of customer credit limits and assist with accounts receivable tracking and payment follow-up
Maintain and update product pricing within ERP systems
Support communication with customers and internal teams regarding order status and documentation
Collaborate with HQ and global teams to support daily operational activities
Assist with investment planning activities, including data collection, tracking, and reporting
Support tracking of investment budgets, schedules, and project status
Maintain accurate records and data related to sales, planning, and investment activities
Generate and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports
Support cross-functional coordination between production, logistics, finance, and business teams
Follow established procedures and ensure compliance with company policies
Identify and escalate issues or risks to appropriate team members
Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience

Experience

1+ years of experience in production planning, sales operations, supply chain, finance, or related field
Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing, operations, or planning will be considered in lieu of full-time experience
Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
Exposure to ERP systems (SAP or similar) preferred

Work Authorization

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Skills

Basic analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with data and reports
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Ability to learn and work within ERP systems and planning tools
Strong organizational and time management skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry
Ability to follow established processes and procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Ability to communicate and collaborate in a multicultural environment
Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean preferred

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit or remain stationary for extended periods while working at a computer
Ability to use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, and office equipment
Ability to occasionally stand, walk, and move within office and operational areas
Ability to occasionally lift, carry, and move typical office materials, equipment , and material samples

Work Environment

Primarily office-based environment within a manufacturing facility
Frequent use of computer systems, including ERP (SAP) and financial reporting tools
Occasional exposure to production or operational areas requiring adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements
